A Referendum Gives All Canadians A Voice

Liberals say voting isn’t the best way to hear from Canadians. So let’s do some math…

Last time there was a national referendum in Canada 9,855,978 people voted. That was nearly 72% turnout back in 1992.

Without a referendum, to hear from the same number of people there would need to be 131,413 Town Hall Meetings held across the country, with 75 people attending each one.

Thanks Blake Richards for showing the absurdity of the Liberal “plan” to hear from Canadians. If they’re going to change how our electoral system works, every Canadian must get a say.
